Knee pain

Our knees are an “inbetween” joint. They have quite a lot of structures in there! Sometimes pain in the knee may not be originating from the knee - it may be coming from the lower back or the foot. Our osteopaths are trained in biomechanics to help figure out where your discomfort is coming from. In some circumstances imaging may be required however this is a case by case basis.

Strength training can help support the knee, whether it's arthritic type pain, or a tweak/twist from a soccer injury. If there is limited movement from the hip or foot we will assess this and give appropriate rehab advice whilst using manual therapy to alleviate the problem areas.
