DO I NEED A GP REFERRAL OR DO YOU TAKE CARE PLANS?You do not need a doctor's referral to see us. Osteopathic consults can be covered by Medicare if you are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) care plan. You can be eligible for this if you are suffering from chronic pain. If eligible you must visit your GP and then they can write you up a plan that includes your referral to us. This can provide up to a maximum of 5 sessions per calendar year for osteopathic services rebated by Medicare. If you are unsure how to qualify for this please feel free to contact us for further information or speak to your GP. We request that you pay for your CDM consultation up front ($130 new clients, or $110 return clients) and we can claim the rebate for you on the spot, with bringing in your DEBIT/EFTPOS card that we can insert into our machine. The funds will be returned to your account immediately, and/or later that day/the next morning. Please note we are not bulk billing and the gap will be charged. (Gap amount is $72 for new clients, $52 return clients) Concession pricing available for pensioners.
